Illustrative Curriculum Structure

Syllabus roadmaps are tailored and paced to each individual student. Core foundational competencies include:

  • Module 1: DAW Architecture & Drum Programming (Sessions 1–6): Setting up optimal templates, audio buffers, sample selection, and groove. Milestone: Program two dynamic, humanized drum loops with fills and transitional risers.
  • Module 2: Basslines, Chord Pads & Virtual Instruments (Sessions 7–12): Building full melodic beds and managing low-end kick-bass relationship. Milestone: Build a cohesive 32-bar instrumental verse-chorus section with drums, bass, and pads.
  • Module 3: Audio Editing, Vocal Tuning & Arrangement (Sessions 13–18): Cleaning recorded audio and arranging complete song structures. Milestone: Comp and tune a lead vocal track and place it into a complete song arrangement.
  • Module 4: Foundational Mixing & 24-Session Project Export (Sessions 19–24): Basic balance, EQ carving, dynamic control, and export. Milestone: Deliver a fully arranged and balanced commercial track for faculty review.

Equipment & Practice Commitment

Suggested Practice: 45 to 60 minutes working on DAW projects (4 to 5 days per week) (1 weekly 1-on-1 project mentoring session (45–60 mins) + 4 hours dedicated production time).

Required Equipment:

  • Laptop or desktop computer (macOS or Windows with at least 8GB RAM, 16GB recommended)
  • Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) installed: Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Cubase, or Reaper

You can use whichever DAW you feel most comfortable with. Mentor Kamlesh Purohit provides full instruction in Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Cubase, and Reaper. The fundamental principles of sound, arrangement, EQ, and dynamics apply identically across all DAWs.

Do I need expensive third-party plugins before starting?

Not at all. Modern DAWs include exceptional stock compressors, EQs, reverbs, and instruments. We teach you how to extract maximum professional quality from your DAW stock tools before ever recommending third-party purchases.

How do 1-on-1 production lessons work online?

We utilize high-resolution screen sharing paired with high-quality stereo audio routing directly from your DAW so you and your mentor hear project playbacks clearly in real time.

Can I work on my own original songs during the course?

Yes! In fact, we strongly encourage it. Our 1-on-1 format means your actual projects become the case studies for your lessons. You finish real songs that you can release.

What are the tuition rates for the music production course?

In India: ₹2,000 base per session + 18% GST (₹2,360/session). The 24-session course is ₹56,640 all-inclusive, and the 48-session complete track is ₹1,13,280 all-inclusive with EMI payment options. Outside India rates are ₹3,499 base + GST (approx $1,186 for 24 sessions).
